RISK FACTORS CAUSED BY MINING ACTIVITIES IN BAIA MARE

Abstract. - Risk factors caused by mining activities in Baia Mare.
In order to prevent major unbalances in the geographical area, as a consequence
of mining activities, to avoid and reduce the consequence of heavy metal
pollution, we identified and analyzed the main areas and locations affected.
Also, we will present the conclusions that we reached and the measures that need
to be taken.
