ABSTRACT. - Geomorphical Risk in the Interconnty Contact Region in the North- West of Romania.The activity of territorial planning implies a study of detail concerning geomorphological processes dynamics. The geomorphological phenomena and processes of risk represent a particular aspect. The importance of a study of the risk phenomena and processes derives from the impact that natural events and phenomena have upon man and his activites (agriculture,planning for turism,building,urban and rural planning, the infrastructure of roads and railways, forestry,etc).The study of risk phenomena and processes in the region analysed has been materialised in a geomorphological risk map ,an operation that supposed the activity of detecting the hierarchy of geomorphological risk. In order to mitigate the effects of the risk, we suggest a pachage containing some measures to be taken.These measures are for a short period of time (2000 – 2005), for a medium period of time (2000 – 2010) and for long period of time ( 2000 –2020).
