ABSTRACT. - The Analysis of Environmental Risk Perception and Acceptability, Sustainable Development Premise. Disfunctions generated by the development of the society - especially by technical progress - continuously create major risk for environment and public health, which sets up disputes about perception and acceptability of risk, in context of preserving environment quality, which is an essential condition of a lasting development. Different methods of complex analysis of perception and acceptability of risks permit setting up safety levels for anthropic activities, strategic administration and management of risk, steps which assure the development of decisional process and support premisess for rational environmental planning according to environment protection statements.
