DEPUNERILE DE GHEAŢĂ DIN MUNŢII BIHOR-VLĂDEASA ŞI IMPACTUL LOR ASUPRA MEDIULUI ÎNCONJURĂTOR

ABSTRACT. – The Ice Deposits of Bihor-Vlădeasa Apuseni Mountains and Their Impact on the Environment. The ice deposits represent a climatic risk phenomenon with a negative impact on the different economic branches: transportation, agriculture, forestry, fruit growing, grazing etc. In the present paper we analyzed the main parameters characteristic for the ice deposits of the Bihor-Vlădeasa Apuseni Mountains, on the basis of the observation data of 1961-2000 from 11 weather stations situated both in the mountain area and its periphery. It has come out that it present a distribution in terms of altitude, the highest frequency, duration, weight and diameter being registered in the mountainous high region. We highlighted the main prevention methods of the ice deposits negative effects on the environment.
