HAZARDE ŞI RISCURI DE VECINĂTATE

ABSTRACT. – Hazards and proximity risk. Defined as an ever reconfiguring relations network or as a state of shortening distances, proximity determines and mantains an energy field with negative or positive valences for the adjacent systems. Within this interface between nature – humans/human groups/functional entities, extreme manifestations determining natural, social or territorial risks appear frequently. The same environmental behavior is to be identified in the case of vicinity. Vulnerability might be easily established especially in the case of human interventions within some geospatial systems in order to valorify resources or to simply dominate territories for socio-political, religious, strategic or other purposes. In order to forecast the extreme events or the associated risks, a careful monitorization and management at the proximity or vicinity level should be developed.
