ABSTRACT. Inland flooding in Hungary. The study, presents the plane territories periodically appearing specific phenomena, the inland floods. Also, presents Hungary inland flood hazard map and the annual inland flooded areas size, from 1940 to 2009 and also some older data. Shortly presents the most representative inland inundations, their causes and their yearly and areal run. The results of the 1951-2006 data distribution study, and also some flood damage reports.
