ABSTRACT. - Territorial Complexity of Risks and Disasters. The genetically and behavioral complexity of risks and disasters as well as the necessity to recognize this essential feature in all the stages supposed by the research of these extreme geographical phenomena are among the first goals of this study. After that aspects connected with the territorial complexity of risks and disasters such as localization and repartition, morphology and dimension, density and diffusion etc. were taken into account. Another important topic is represented by the disorganizing processes that take place in the territorial units affected by the extreme geographical phenomena. In this frame some aspects concerning the forms and the typology of the spatial disorganization of the territory are analyzed. Although only a part of the physical originated risks (climatic, hydrologic and biologic) are conditioned by the zonality law the repartition of the risks and disasters in climatic zones was approached taking into account the intensity of phenomena.
